The Poetry of Karol Lynn is very well defined,
For I have always called myself the Raven in poetry,
If you hear me call myself thus,
It is how it always was and will always be....
At times, there are works of sadness, and
Often of gladness, works that I have used
To express all manor of feeling within my soul.
This particular page will be dedicated to the positive.
It begins in a moment.
A small chance word,
A smile so innocent.
It is a sign.
Things change,
Life begins anew.
A new door opens,
An old door shuts for good.
Rainbow ends are found,
A pot of gold at the end.
A new beginning, to be sure,
The awakening of the soul,
A new chance to dream
Uniquely beautiful...
Words to describe a person such as me.
How I love the sound of being this rare thing.
A blue rose with few thorns.
A different breed of flower
One many seek, yet think they
Will never find.
Uniquely beautiful...
Words once spoken of me
And I will always strive to be.
When I am ready to show you my heart, I know you will see me for who I truly am.
My heart is loving and willing to be yours for all of eternity,
But who am I to say "I love you" and use time to measure how long we will live inside of each other's hearts?
How can promises be made when the future is always so uncertain? Yet we make those promises just the same.
Just promise to be there, right where I know I can find you...inside of my heart waiting for me to say the words and make the promise that I will make.
Be patient, and my heart will be the gift I give to you someday.
When I am ready, I know you will be there and I will give you everything inside of me.

Dream so sweetly.
Give over to the fantasy of night.
See the things you desire,
Let them give you hope.
Never let go of those dreams.
Know a sense of the whimsical,
Giggle in the night as they dance.
Push the frightening away into hell.
Embrace the dreams and smile in sleep.
Hold them forever in your memories.
Never fear your dreams.
Love your night time revelations.
Let them take you away to
Run wild in it's rapture.
Enjoy peace as you sleep, it is my greatest wish.
When I leave this world, I want to go laughing.
I pray that the ones I leave behind will
Laugh at a memory of me as they
Walk past the door marked with my name
In the corridor of their minds.
When loved ones look to the starry night sky,
I hope they know that I will be waiting for them there.
Someday, there will only be a marker and a name
To signify that I once walked in this world,
But I pray that what isn't written there
Will be etched on the hearts and minds
Of all who knew me well.

Seeking the light, embracing the warmth once again
Life begins to have a purpose.
Darkness is lost as sunshine makes her way
Over a horizon in beautiful hues of lavender and blue.
The new dawn comes with a promise of hope in the heart.
Healing comes in and peace reigns once more.
Now there is a reason to find the dream again.
